In yet ANOTHER brand spanking new number one issue Peter Parker is apparently going global with his company. He's mostly going to be in Japan (seems like Japan) although he will apparently visit London and California. The promo image has him with two women on either arm and let's see is there anything else....
Oh yes. He now has a brand new Spider-Mobile. Seriously LOL
Slott will of course still be the writer and Camuncoli is the artist for the first issue and Alex Ross has designed the new costume. Because you have to have a new costume LOL.
Oh and Miles Morales is staying in New York to deal with the street-level stuff because according to Slott Peter Parker is above all that now LOL.
So how does Batman Inc. I mean Spider-Man Inc. I mean Amazing Spider-Man sound to you?
LOL
Despite the tone of my post I am actually somewhat intrigued by the idea as he'll be out of New York for however many issues this lasts for before they relaunch it again so that'll be interesting to me. Oh and I believe he'll be in the new Uncanny Avengers team as well.
Anyway. Thoughts?

Considering how the Spidey-cast has all but disappeared, under Slott's reign, I don't think a change of venue will be relevant. I voted wait and see.

To be fair I'm in the wait and see camp myself but I did shake my head when I saw that he was getting a Spider-Mobile.

Well, the general idea seems to be, turning him into some kind of Bruce Wayne, right?

Yep. All because DC wouldn't give him a proper Batman story to write and only really let him do a minor unimportant story and the letters page Ah well. I'll be giving it a chance. It's Peter Parker after-all. At least it'd better be! Better not be Doc Ock again

Spock would make a much better Batman, tough.

I'm sure he would Ozy. In fact he'd probably bang on about sales while he was there being higher than now and how I don't know that much about the industry (which I don't and is besides my point but he'll no doubt bring it up anyways LOL)
Doc Ock (Again I refuse to call him Spock, R.I.P Leonard Nimoy) would've made a better Batman I agree. It'd have made more sense LOL. Especially the Spider-Mobile LOL.

Didn't he have some kind of Spider-Tank? I'm not home, so I can't check it.

To me, the upcoming ASM series is the reboot version of Superior Spider-Man.

To me, the upcoming ASM series is the reboot version of Superior Spider-Man. I think you're onto something there. I don't think Slott ever intended to bring Peter back, at least not for a while longer and that this is what he had planned for Doc Ock but he's having to do it for Peter instead.
As for the Spider Tank thing Ozy I'm not sure but it does sound familiar.

Now that I'm back home, I can confirm he DID have a big Spider "Tank". Check SSM #14, page 4.
As for Slott recycling concepts, he intended for SpOck,,, I'm hopeful it will turn out to be better, than what we've seen, since Peter's comeback.
