This is quite a touchy topic when it comes to comics forums, the problem is, boards.net doesn't provide the necessary tool to easily conceal problematic text. The closest thing I could find was the quote feature, so I devised a small modification so it would do the deed. In most comics forums, there's a lot of restrictions when talking about story developments, even when you're talking about an old comic, you'll always find someone who isn't happy about sharing specific information. Don't get me wrong, I find spoilers as irritating as anyone, but some logic should apply. If you enter a thread about a particular issue, or one about a series which gets permanently updated, you can't complain if you haven't read all there is to read about it. Another thing would be a preview, those should be concealed.
When to use them? Mainly when the thread drifts momentarily, because you can end up talking about comics which were not "advertised" in the thread title.
Of course, what we can't have, is a thread title which, in itself, is a spoiler. I've edited such titles in the past and will do again. Try not to be very specific, when spotlighting a story development.
