No one knows that, Marvel Time behaving like it does. I would stick to the basics: - 2 years in highschool
- 4 years in college
- 1 year of postgraduate
- 3 years after that (should be six, but that raises season count to 13)
Okay so the changes would be this.
1st season - Second to last year of high-school, starts working as a freelance photographer in the Daily Bugle (I was thinking no later than 3rd episode). 2nd Season - Last year of high-school, graduates in episode 23, visits college he's going to go to in episode 24, which will feature a cameo from Gwen and Harry who he'll meet in season 3. 3rd Season - Starts college in 1st episode. Meets Harry and Gwen in first episode as well. Normie is introduced in 2nd episode but doesn't become Green Goblin in Season 3 (or is that too long for Normie?) but obviously teased along the way. 4th Season - MJ is introduced. I was thinking 1st episode. Peter meets MJ in 2nd episode. Normie becomes Green Goblin.(or is that too long?). This would be the season where Peter and Gwen become a couple. I was thinking maybe mid-way? 5th Season - Maybe introduce Venom? I was thinking Eddie Brock could be introduced in the first episode and is merged with the symbiote in episode 22? Season finale could be the first battle with Venom. 6th Season - Drops out of college. Episode 24.
Oh, and Ozy I'd have no problem with 13 seasons so we'll make it 6 years after the postgraduate thing
Cheers for the info Ozy, that actually helped expand my ideas. Any tips or advice would be appreciated as I'm not normally good with this stuff.

If we're sticking to real time, one season per year, he would drop out at the end of season seven.

I know I'm quoting myself here but it's easier to explain the changes this way haha.
6th Season - Still in college. Maybe Black Cat could be introduced in season 6? Maybe with her initially working for Kingpin, possibly against her will?.
Thanks for the help Ozy it's really appreciated. Any further advice or help would be equally appreciated. Same goes for other posters reading this by the way. 7th Season - Drops out in episode 24.

As for characters from the wider Marvel Universe my thoughts were that they could be referenced in someway, like newspapers could have headlines about them for example and in some cases maybe become a ''spin-off'' in similar fashion to the Flash series spinning out of Arrow (because you know that's what TV executives would be thinking, can we make spin-offs and therefore more money out of this? lol).
For instance, maybe you could have an episode or couple of episodes where he's working with Daredevil, which sets up for a spin-off series for Daredevil. Just a thought.
Okay, I think I might be starting to overthink this so I'll stop here for now haha.

In any case, I would hope for the other characters to be more faithful to their comic book counterparts, than those we've seen in arrow.

I don't mind them not being strictly faithful to comic book counterparts as long as it's not dumb.

You mean like Amazo being a ship?

Amazo being a ship was more of a nod for the comic book fans I think, I don't think it was ever meant to be anything more than that to be fair.

Of course it was a wink, but the point is, sometimes they will resort to anything just to make comic book references. If they wanted to give a relevant name to a ship, how about Black Freighter? Not strictly DC universe, but a pirate ship at least.

Oh I'm sure if this imaginary Spider-Man ever came to life, they'd resort to anything to make comic book references.

If we are going for 24 episodes i would have 1 per year, So the first season is Peter's Orgin and obviously freelancing Have the second be his first year at college introducing Harry, Gwen bring back Flash and maybe introduce MJ The third season could be his second and focus on the Goblins (Hobby and Green) Finale could be when Norman finds out The fourth could be his third and could be the expanding and also include the killing of Gwen's father in the finale The fifth could be his last year before his post grad and end with the Death of Gwen The Sixth could be his post grad and him dropping out The Seventh would see him struggle The Eighth could seem him finish off his post grad or continue form the last one The Ninth you could introduce Horizon if you haven't already The Tenth could be a adaption of Big Time for the tv format with him joing super hero teams New Warriors and FF.

Some nice ideas volcaniktiger86, I haven't made up my mind yet whether I'd kill Gwen off in my one.
