Bought on the 7th, sent on the 8th, received on the 15th via Amazon. Amazon (UK): I had never read Brubaker's CA, and it was pleasant enough. Another example of "bad Russians", but it's American super-hero comics, what can you expect? Not everyone is Alan Moore. From todocoleccion, paid on the 5th, sent on the 8th, received on the 11th via Correos: I would've liked the Gallery Edition better, but this one was 26.50€, all in. From todocoleccion, paid on the 13th, sent on the 14th, received on the 18th via Correos:
All of them VFN or above, for 30€. More evil USSR, but with a British twist, not so naive.
From todocoleccion, paid on the 14th, sent on the 15th, received on the 18th via Correos:
I missed the explanation on how CA's body was sent trough time and exchanged with a fake. With the assassination weapon. Oh well, it's more Hitch, and for 20€.

Bought on the 18th, shipped on the 18th, received on the 29th via Royal Mail (3 days for domestic delivery) + GSP (Sending). UK eBay seller: People seriously need to get their act together when grading. Even without taking them out of their bags, I could see these weren't NM. I inspected #296 and sure enough, FN at best.

Bought on the 14th, shipped on the 18th, received on the 20th via Royal Mail 2nd Class (to UK address). UK eBay seller: Well, just the first one. The others are from Comicana, including the difficult #569, which I bought from them for £55 even before it went online. Graded NM- but probably better.
Bought on the 15th, shipped on the 15th, received on the 18th via Royal Mail 2nd Class (to UK address). UK eBay seller: I bought it from Lone Star a while ago, but was misbound. This copy is better (not to mention reader friendly), but twice as expensive.
Bought on the 14th, shipped on the 14th, received on the 16th via Royal Mail 2nd Class (to UK address). UK eBay seller: I only wanted the one by Smallwood, the others have stunning art from Immonem, but Slott is Slott, not his worst version AFAIR but still, we'll see. Bought on the 14th, shipped on the 14th, received on the 16th via Royal Mail 2nd Class (to UK address). UK eBay seller: Just #2, the other Death issues are from Comicana, the USM is from the vendor below. It finishes the Death of Spider-Man storyline at a better price than at, say, mycomicshop (once postage and customs are factored in). I know it must be in some dollar bin, somewhere in a galaxy far, far away.
Bought on the 14th, shipped on the 15th, received on the 19th via Royal Mail 2nd Class? (to UK address). UK eBay seller. Bought on the 14th, shipped on the 15th, received on the 18th via Royal Mail 2nd Class (to UK address). UK eBay seller: I received the second one a couple of weeks ago. Also have the Ellis' issues in HC and floppies. Bought on the 20th, shipped on the 27th! (heat wave), received on the 2nd!! via Royal Mail Tracked & Signed + Correos. Comicana (17th order): They previously had three of these, but not being interesting enough, I waited until I could get them all four in one go.

Bought on the 20th of July, shipped on the 29th, received 17th August. 4th back issue Mile High order: Nine days for processing may look like a lot, but for MH it's not. I've seen worse. Nonetheless, it's the industry standard for slowest fulfillment rate. Asendia, OTOH, is still the best carrier for overseas delivery, hands down: $7 for 8 comics with tracked delivery. BUT, once you add the $3 MH asks for insurance and the 17.69€! customs charge you for $47.70 worth of merchandise, the 60% discount on the regular price (they never charge you that, BTW) kind of disappears. The problem is that Lone Star doesn't fare any better, they have lower regular prices, but postage is much higher and customs (since July of last year)... just as bad. The best way to buy from the US right now is to find an eBay seller with reasonable postage costs trough the Global Shipping Program. What they charge for customs is way less.

Bought on the 11th of January, shipped on the 11th of August (pre-ordered), received on the 17th via UPS. 6th Walt's Comic Shop order (actually the 2nd): It should've come out in June (in time for the 60th anniversary), but delays are ubiquitous nowadays.

Bought on the 8th, shipped on the 11th, received on the 15th via Royal Mail 2nd Class (to UK address). UK eBay seller: These four Hulk issues were supposedly deposited on my mailbox a month ago, but I never saw them. On top of wasting my time writing here and there, calling DHL and visiting my post office, I had to order them again from the UK. #275 from the order below, the others from another vendor. The price of the books (and postage) were similar, but with customs I had to pay more for them, in the end. The Mantlo/Sal team is now represented by 22 Hulk comics in my collection. Bought on the 12th, shipped on the 16th, received on the 25th via Royal Mail Tracked & Signed + Correos. Comicana (18th order): It still doesn't seem right to place 90's comics in the "classic" category. I have the Ellis' TPB, but I don't like how they placed the covers at the end with no separation between issues. The first mini isn't that great, but that makes a consecutive run (1-15).

The price of the books (and postage) were similar, but with customs I had to pay more for them, in the end. 7.21€ to be precise, for a total of 34.67€. In total, the 18 Hulk issues, bought this summer, have costed me 147.73€ with postage and customs.
This is roughly twice what I paid for issues 272 & 297-299, bought a little over a year ago, back when Brexit still hadn't come in full swing. My next purchase will be at my LCS, no kidding!

Said and done. I went to my LCS and made my first purchase there after four years living here. They had the whole series, but the other six volumes were damaged, so I asked them to order new copies. More next week.

I bought these three past week. They had all remaining six at my LCS, but half of those were damaged, so I only took these ones. I'll try my luck with the rest at Amazon (I know, not the best place for that).

Bought on the 21st, sent on the 22nd, received on the 26th via Correos. Amazon (ES): With their post-sales service having gone down the drain, this is my last Amazon order. I basically ever used it for buying comics, and despite their track record regarding grades (new doesn't mean NM) I always was able to sort it out by one of the 3 methods they used: refund, discount or replacement. It turns out they only offer refund now, and with restrictions (no house pick-up, only on carrier).

From todocoleccion, paid on the 13th, sent on the 15th, received on the 17th via Correos: At 30€ a pop, they look cheap looking at the price they are getting out for now (50€).

Bought on the 11th, shipped on the 16th, received on the 21st via UPS. 8th Walt's Comic Shop order:
Liked the new colors on the SM one, they actually match the content. The other one assumes Taschen won't publish the issues I want, we'll see about that.
Finally completed the first 7 volumes.

Bought on the 16th, shipped on the 20th, received on the 21st via Correos. 4th Monroqueta42 Comics order:
This is like the only shop I know in Spain that regularly renews their stock of American floppies, not just a collector.
The first one included free of charge, as the grading was wrong. He offered another one instead but sent this one all the same too!
Some cheap Preachers won in auctions. Issues 2 & 3 have sticker damage, but at 7.26€ for both of them, that's OK. The other two were even cheaper, 6.01€ together.
Some discounted Nam issues, at 2.40€ each. Had to track the rest of the Golden run elsewhere.
More auctions with sticker damaged comics, 1.10€ each. Bought them just for the art, Waid isn't someone I follow.
Have the TPB, but at 1€ a piece, it was time to get the floppies. The rest were more expensive (mycomicshop).
Same thing, the TPB doesn't have the covers, and could get all three of them for 14.80€. The Titans one, also an auction for 3.05€. Never heard of it, nice Pérez art.
I don't like crossovers, but I like Simonson and Buscema, so at 4€ each I finally got some high grade copies.
