Just finished the first Venom storyline and there's something I'm confused about. How many "Venom samples" are alive and which one is on Eddie Brock?
The first one, the one Eddie shows Peter, which he then steals, is apparently destroyed at the end of issue 35. Then Peter sees Eddie wearing the other sample (USM #37), the one he didn't know about, and mistakes him for "his" sample, having survived and looking for him. In the subsequent confrontation, in issue 38, Peter has doubts about the Venom "suit" having memories or they being Eddie's, but all the time it looks like it was the same "suit" he wore in issue 35. That's how it went in earth-616, but the narrative here indicates that Eddie's suit came from the second sample. Is this explained at any point?
Oh, I'm assuming the rest of the first sample (the big chunk of it) does get destroyed in issue 36.

I'll have to look back. It's been a while since he was last in an Ultimate Spider-Man book.

For some reason I double posted Take your time, and don't worry about the double, it's gone. Although not completely, seeing as I choose it to quote you.

I decided to change the title of the thread, in order to include a couple of questions more: - In issue 106, page 19, Matt Murdock lets Peter know he's Daredevil. Fast-forward to issue 131, page 17, and we have Spidey thinking "Don't even know his real name". Did I miss something in between?
- Ok, here's the thing, in USM #12, the Kingpin is seen in exile, because he was taped murdering someone. In issue 47, the evidence is found inadmissible and he's cleared. Then, in USM #110, he's arrested for the attempted murder of Moon Knight. Next time we see him, is in Ultimate Comics Spider-Man v1 #1, where we learn that he's back in the country because the tape from #12 had been lost in the Ultimatum's flood. What the what?

And yet two doubts more, these ones coming from Ultimate Comics Spider-Man Vol 2 (the one with Miles Morales): - In issue 22, we see a man being addressed as "Mr. Roxxon", who clearly isn't Donald Roxxon. Miscommunication between writer and artist?
- In issue 28, we learn that Jessica Drew was "made" by Roxxon. This makes no sense, why would they hire Silver Sable to get Spider-Man, if they already were in cahoots with Reilly, Octavius and Gyrich? Let's not forget, these are they people, originally shown as being responsible, for the Parker clones.
Sometimes, it just looks like Bendis is making all of it up, as he goes along.
