You can always post some nice art, at least.

True. I could do. Could also make some comments based on anything you say about ASM

I don't expect to be much said by me, in the foreseeable future. Unless the Dr. Octopus that makes a comeback, somehow benefits from what's happened to the character all these years. It seemed to me like Slott had something to contribute, but his whole role throughout the Clone Conspiracy was to cry over Anna. She was an important part of the voyage, but not the entire trip. From the ending of that saga, I get the feeling we're simplifying the subject.
I'l read the reviews, but unless I'm wrong about this, not the actual comic.

I got sucked into the Osborn Identity, just because of the art, and it was just another buildup for nothing. So after all the dancing around the character, Slott brings him back to the GG persona? I liked Goblin Nation better. In fact, the best pages were the ones drawn by Camuncoli, not because of the art, but because of the character at the centre of the action.
Please Slott, just leave ASM and write an Otto book. It's what you really want, we can tell.

Yeah, the Osborn Identity wasn't great if anything all it did was confirm that I was going to drop the book as there was nothing in it to keep me interested post Osborn Identity. And I sure as hell don't want to read anymore ''Superior'' where Slott has an orgasm every time he gets to write a scene with Doc Ock.
I won't be buying ASM until he's gone, in the meantime at least I have Spectacular (first issue was alright) and Renew Your Vows for now. Rumour has it they're also going to be doing a Friendly Neighbourhood book as well by Spencer.

Errr, actually, that's my reason for getting #29 I won't be buying ASM until he's gone, in the meantime at least I have Spectacular (first issue was alright) Will take a look. Rumour has it they're also going to be doing a Friendly Neighbourhood book as well by Spencer. If it's anywhere in the vicinity of SFoSM, that sounds like a nice neighbourhood.

Wait and see I guess regarding Spencer, assuming he is doing Friendly Neighbourhood that is, I've yet to hear any confirmation either way on that front. As for ASM 29, to each their own

What can I say, I do like it when
It's because he's having fun, that some of it gets to the reader.

Yeah, well if Slott has so much fun writing Doc Ock then they should get him of ASM asap and put him on a Doc Ock fan-fic book as far away from Spidey as possible.

Pretty much what I said: Please Slott, just leave ASM and write an Otto book. It's what you really want, we can tell. Unfortunately, I guess they pay you more, when you write ASM, so he's likely to milk it to death.

That and they're allowing him to do so because he's one of the boys. Sigh. I'm starting to agree with those who feel that Marvel need a restructuring as far as the higher ups are concerned.

I was joking about ''the boys'' thing. It's basically something people say when they talk about the ''old boys network''.

In the meantime, #29 is one of Slott's finest ASM to date. It didn't feel goofy at all and not even Otto dispensed with the usual "dolt" or the like.
If you can, check it out at the comic shop.

Nah, I'm good thanks. Glad you enjoyed it but I made a decision to drop it after #28 until Slott is off the book and I'll stand by it. Won't even glance at it
