The first part was more enjoyable for me, but the ending has the big advantage of presenting that much needed "explanation".

Looking back on the issue, it kinda feels like a bit of a filler that they're releasing as there's not much time left before Secret Wars. Might just be me though

"The Secret Wars commence in May 2015", is that cover date?

I believe so Ozy.

Well, then of course there's not much time left… that's next month. That would also explain this issue's last panel, and that thing about "a whole year of no drama". Probably another time lapse, so that Miles can grow a little bit more

At least until ''The End'' LOL I hope it isn't the end for Miles, at least while Bendis is willing to continue, writing the character.

I hope not either, as I do really enjoy reading the character. I don't believe it is the end for him though.

Miles Morales - Ultimate Spider-Man #10 is just another good example of why, no matter whether the character remains where he is or goes to earth 616, as long as this creative team stays on board, we're safe. A six page fight sequence, and the rest of the issue just talking, which is Bendis strongest suite. The art continues to excel, since he got rid of Bagley, ultimate Spider-Man rarely lands a bad artist.

The penultimate issue of this, the second short-lived series, featuring Miles, isn't any more fast paced than usual. Despite having the axe over his head, Bendis doesn't seem to be in a hurry, to tie-up loose ends. There a way to argue against having to finalize subplots, before the end. Let's put it this way, if you're preparing a meal, and someone bombs your house, there's no reason for they to wait for you finishing cooking, they just drop the bomb and that's it.
In any event, Bendis is also writing Ultimate End, which continues the story, so there's a little bit more room there, we'll see how much has its own internal resolution, and how much gets axed.

Well, apparently Morales is in an Avengers team book? I don't know if that's true though.

The thing is, once he makes the move to earth-616, should he join the Spider-Man Family? He's currently the only one, keeping the Ultimate Spider-Man sub-board alive, if he leaves, it's pretty much game over here.

If he does make the move to earth-616 I think it's inevitable that he would join the Spider-Man Family. I wouldn't mind that as I like the character. Wait and see I guess as to what happens after Secret Wars.

Everything good must come to and end, and this little series was good, and now it's done, Will be see Mies again in a solo venture? Will Bends pick up the character again?
The wrapping up, of the Hydra storyline, felt rather abrupt, but at least the pace wasn't rushed.

Yeah it wasn't bad considering that I had the feeling that the run was initially supposed to last a bit longer but then Secret Wars came along LOL.
Felt it was about a 7.1 personally speaking overall the last issue.
I hope Bendis does pick up the character again but I guess we'll just have to wait and see on that one. Also, I personally feel that Miles will get at least one more solo run once Secret Wars is done but again wait and see I guess LOL.
