True. And £3.15 might not sound much but I buy 20-25 comics a week on average so it all mounts up (thankfully, DC tends to be cheaper for the most part as their books are usually £2.30 but that's a different discussion lol).

Speaking of being ''forced'' to read other titles to get the complete story. Black Vortex is starting soon and to get the complete story I'll have to read Star Lord and Guardians of the Galaxy 3000 lol. At least I already read Guardians of the Galaxy. Don't think Guardians of the Galaxy 3000 is involved with Black Vortex, Nova and the X-men are as is the new Guarduabs of the galaxy team up

That is why i trade wait, granted i have to wait longer but i can normal get 5/6 issues for about nine pound instead of the 3.15

Last time I was in London, they offered recent issues at big discounts, as soon as they left the stands (a couple of months after coming out). I don't know if they still do it, or if other shops from the UK also have that policy, but I bought a lot of comics at 50p!

Thanks for the correction.

My store doesn't seem to do that but to be fair I go online or Comic Fayres for older issues.

Well, now that I've finally had a chance to read the Venom World issue. I don't know how to feel about it. Has anyone else read it?

Not me, not yet. I'm still getting up to date with the Ultimate Universe (currently @ 2010), but even without reading it, if it's by Bendis, you should feel good

Hmm, not sure about the particular issue though, doesn't feel like one of his stronger ones for me personally. But I won't say too much in case you want to read it when you get the chance.

Oh, I will read it. Bendis was at the top of my reading list, four years ago. Getting up to date on his more recent work for Marvel, won't be very difficult.
