And incorporate Gwen shortly after. But I want it to have as much legitimacy as the Earth-616 we know. If I were to do what you propose, then there would be no problem just going back to 1973 and avoid all the grief of bringing her back.
I had a thread, back at CBR, where I explained my discrepancies with Stern. It was called, Girlfriend from Hell Gwen. I'll look it up in my hard drive and post the basic points here.

I had a thread, back at CBR, where I explained my discrepancies with Stern. It was called, Girlfriend from Hell Gwen. I'll look it up in my hard drive and post the basic points here. That's exactly my point. Instead of starting a new timeline in 1984, THEN bring Gwen back, Just start the timeline in 1973 and have Gwen never die. No need for time platforms, no problems with age differences, Just Gwen and Peter carrying on the way they were supposed to before Conway screwed things up. The same realism, integrity, ethicality, and honor was around in #121 as it was in #251 so by starting this new timeline in 1973 instead of 1984 you would essentially be killing two birds with one stone.
