"Yeah. Let's laugh about it." This guy doesn't understand Gwen's character and MJ just happened to be his type.

Not just his type, but his "dream girl". Apparently, Gwen was Stan's dream girl.

Well, there's a difference, one dream is MJ, while the other is Gwen. I can share the second dream

At least Gerry Acknowledged that he was the one who killed off Gwen and he admitted his reasons. He didn't even WANT to try and save her! He also admitted that MJ was his choice for Peter. Although even he Had to "modify" her to make her a suitable fit for Peter. My guess is Conway is just into self absorbed women who are redheads and/or have dimples!

Very much likely, just as I'm into blue eyed blonds, with a big brain and a bigger heart.

Very much likely, just as I'm into blue eyed blonds, with a big brain and a bigger heart. This is the funny thing about my passion for bringing Gwen back! I consider her the best match for PETER, but my own tastes are a little different. Although I want Gwen and Peter to have the relationship they were denied, my personal tastes are closer to Debra Whitman and Jill Stacy! Debra because I kinda like a little more soft spoken girl and Jill because she is a Brunette! Funny, huh?

Just goes to show that Stan topped himself, when he recreated Gwen, with Romita's help.

So apparrently out of all people, Conway's going to write a version of Gwen again. What could go wrong? "SPIDER-VERSE TEAM-UP #2 (of 3) CHRISTOS GAGE & GERRY CONWAY (W) DAVE WILLIAMS & PAUL SMITH (A) Cover by DAVE WILLIAMS SPIDER-VERSE TIE-IN! • MILES MORALES AND ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN (from the ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN cartoon) TEAM UP! • GWEN STACY SPIDER-WOMAN goes to a universe to recruit a Peter Parker who never got over her death! 32 PGS./Rated T …$3.99"

Let's wait and see what he concots (knifes ready).

I'm going to give the Spider-Verse team-up book a try. It might be fun afterall.

Kurt, about the video you linked, after a little bit of research, here's my expanded comment: It's obvious that no one wants to take full responsibility for something that, 40+ years later, is still a hot topic of discussion. If you ask Gerry Conway or Roy Thomas, they'll both tell you that Stan Lee knew about the story beforehand. Stan Lee, says he didn't, and that he found himself surprised after a travel, I'd say, didn't even exist. For once, I have to agree with Gerry on this, "The Man" is losing his memory (I was actually thinking Alzheimer here). What we have to do, is use our reasoning, as Roy suggests, and ask ourselves if it was even possible, for such a comic to see the day of light, without Stan knowing.
